These donations help to establish long term and sustainable development projects which are helping hundreds of thousands of people in Africa every year.
By donating over €250 per annum, or as little as €22 per month, Self Help will benefit from tax relief from the Irish Government. This makes the value of your donation to Self Help considerably greater than your original contribution.
For Example: If you are paying PAYE in the lower tax bracket, a donation of €250 per annum would generate an additional income for Self Help of €62.50, making your donation worth €312.50. If you are paying PAYE in the higher tax bracket, a donation of €250 per annum will generate an additional income for Self Help of €181.04, making your donation €431.04.
